Stacey Woody Thebodo (M.A. International Education, School for International Training; B.A. Psychology, Central College, Iowa), Associate Director of International Programs and Off-Campus Study, has worked at Middlebury College since 1997. As Associate Director, Stacey manages all aspects of Middlebury student participation in externally sponsored study abroad and off-campus study programs all around the world, as well as advises for the Middlebury-CMRS Oxford Humanities Program. Stacey has also worked in study abroad advising at SIT Study Abroad and at the University of Vermont, and she was a visiting staff member at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is the author of several publications and has presented at many conferences on topics such as: education abroad advising, sustainable study abroad, strategic student survey assessment, using technology in study abroad advising, blogging and reflective writing, cross-cultural re-entry, working effectively with parents, as well as examining the effects of students’ technological connectedness with home during study abroad.
