Explain an assignment in your own voice. Show students the steps you took to solve a problem. Allow students to become familiar with important software that you would like them to use in classroom activities. Introduce your students to you and the course before they enter the classroom. Panopto, a new video streaming service for Middlebury, has a screen-recording tool that allows you to record the activity on your computer and save it online to be shared with your students. The tool will also use your computer’s camera and mic to record your explanation of the material. This workshop will introduce you to the screen-recording tool and explore ways to use it.
