Center for Community Engagement (CCE) Open House

Stop by for coffee, bagels, and apple cider donuts, and learn about ways students can get involved with community, here and around the globe. Come hear from current students and CCE staff members! Through classroom-community connections, democracy initiatives, volunteer opportunities, student service organizations, internships, and funding resources, students collaborate with communities (near and far), developing civic skills and dispositions. Signature programs include the Privilege & Poverty Academic Cluster, Middlebury Alternative Break Trips, Community Friends mentoring, Language in Motion, and the Japan Summer Service Learning program. The Center for Community Engagement helps fulfill Middlebury’s mission to create a transformative learning experience for our students and practice ethical citizenship.
