Carol Rifelj Faculty Lecture Series: The Golden Spaces of the Uta Codex

Eliza Garrison, Department of History of Art & Architecture, will give a talk as part of the 2020-21 Carol Rifelj Faculty Lecture Series.

This talk will examine the connections between the golden case and the manuscript illuminations of the Uta Codex, an artwork created ca. 1025 for use at the Bavarian canonry of Niedermünster in honor of Abbess Uta and her legacy of reform.
