MCAB Presents: Diane Nash, Civil Rights & Peace Activist
MCAB Speakers Committee is proud to bring Diane Nash as our spring speaker. A Chicago native who had never experienced segregation in public accommodations before moving to the South, Diane Nash went on to become one of the pioneers of the Civil Rights Movement. In her lecture entitled “The Movements of the ‘60s: A Legacy for Today” Diane will address her own experiences and relate them to how we can tackle social movements in the present. Her talk will be followed by a Q&A session. The event will be in Mead Chapel at 7:00 pm on April 2nd and is free and open to the public.
