Ashura Commemoration

Join us for discussion and a presentation on the significance of Ashura, the 10th of the Islamic month of Muharram, on Friday, Oct 23, at 4:30 pm at the Scott Center (135 South Main St). We will discuss the significance of the martyrdom of Husayn (AS) and his family and companions at Karbala to Shi’a Muslims, and the importance of the ahl-al-bayt (the people of the house) to Muslims worldwide.
