Jenn Karson, a native Vermonter, will share her experiences as a sound artist, alternative pop singer, and founder of Vermont Makers. Karson’s recent collaboration with the Fleming Museum in Burlington resulted in a unique installation in which she recreated the ambient sounds of Picasso’s studio and the streets of Montmarte during the time he painted Les Demoiselles d’Avignon. She creates both indoor and outdoor installations for urban and rural places and exhibits in both galleries and nontraditional places of display.
