Fall MiddAction Fair

This is your chance to get involved…Meet representatives from over 50 non-profit organizations and student service groups to learn how you can get involved with our local community and our wider world. The MiddAction Fair will provide you with the opportunity to engage directly in local activism, volunteering, social justice, and service-learning activities in areas such as education, literacy, youth mentoring, environment, emergency services, public health, poverty, hunger, housing, and much more. The Middlebury Science Café

Welcome to the Middlebury Science Cafe! Join us on the second Thursday of the month at Lost Monarch to chat about how science intersects with our daily lives in Vermont. Doors will open at 5:00 so there is time to grab a delicious coffee or tea from Matt. The talk starts at 5:30 pm.

Molly is a chemist and Eric is a biologist at Middlebury College. They have been working together this year to study road salt’s effects on our waterways. Join us on Thursday to learn about how the project is going and meet some of the bugs that make it possible!

Food & Fellowship: A Celebration of MLK Jr.’s Legacy

Please join us at Kirk Alumni Center to celebrate MLK Jr.’s Legacy.

This event will bring the community together in food and fellowship to celebrate Black culture, learn about various civil rights heroes, and engage in conversation. Esther Charlestin, the Dean of Climate and Culture at Middlebury Union Middle School, will provide the keynote conversation.

The Middlebury Science Café Presents "Making Decaf Coffee" with Daniel Gutierrez

Join us to chat with Daniel the roaster for Iluminar Coffee and Bud’s Beans. He will be sharing the science of the decaffeination process that still keeps all that great coffee flavor. Doors will open at 5:00 so there is time to grab a delicious coffee or tea from Matt. The talk starts at 5:30 pm. Masks are welcome but not required.
