Join the Privilege and Poverty program for an evening of conversations on transformative collaboration around poverty. During a campfire at the Knoll and dinner at the Center for Community Engagement, we will discuss the following questions: How can academic inquiry inform community practice in addressing poverty? What are the roles and responsibilities of institutions of higher education in addressing community? What forms of community action can best serve people facing poverty?

If you are curious about what’s a PFAS then join us for the first Middlebury Science Cafe at the Lost Monarch (3 Mill Steet). This month Dr. Kate Crawford will be sharing her work on PFAS and their environmental impact. Learn about this cutting edge science as Dr. Crawford shares more about the chemistry and impact of a new class of chemicals. Open to all, no STEM background needed.

Learn about internships, volunteering and employment on and off campus this summer! The Student Employment Office will provide information about finding a job on campus, the costs of living on campus (including housing and food options), and important deadlines. The Center for Careers & internships will provide information on finding or creating an internship and the Center for Community Engagement will provide information on how to find an opportunity for volunteering.
