Healing the Earth: Permaculture and Islamic Spirituality

We are in a planetary state of emergency: pollution, climate change, loss of biodiversity, deforestation, and ocean acidification are among the many symptoms of an Earth in crisis. Living in harmony with the earth is a core concept within the Islamic tradition. Rhamis Kent, director of the Permaculture Research Institute, draws from his Islamic faith to address these pressing concerns.
