WIIS/MIIS Introductory Meeting

The first Women in International Security (WIIS) West and MIIS collaboration meeting will provide an introduction to the organization and opportunities for students to get involved while on campus and following graduation. Joining us via Skype will be Pamela All, Treasurer and Advisory Board member at WIIS. Ms. All is a senior advisor for conflict prevention and management at the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) and senior fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).

She consults to non-profit organizations, with a specific focus on women, peace, and security and peacebuilding and serves on boards and in advisory capacities of several non-profit organizations and groups, including the Advisory Committee for the West Coast chapter of WIIS (WIIS-West).

As you prepare for your event, make sure to fill out the events logistics form at least 2 weeks in advance to request any Media Service or Campus Service support at: http://www.miis.edu/events/plan/logistics All users of MIIS venues are expected to leave the venue and its equipment in good order, which includes chairs and tables straightened, electronic equipment shut off, and properly disposing of everything one came in with, such as soda and food containers, newspapers, etc.
