Pre-Semester Workshop is a three-day dance intensive open to all students culminating in a performance at Convocation.

September 6th - 8th
12:30 pm 5:30 pm on September 6th and 7th,
12:30 pm on the 8th end Time TBA – we are performing at Convocation for First Years on the evening of the 8th around 5 pm (to be confirmed)
You must attend all 3 days of pre-semester.

Pre-semester will be led by Professor Laurel Jenkins and Guest Artist Arisa
White.
Open to all Middlebury Students. No experience necessary. All bodies are welcome!

This informal showing demonstrates the research of Improvisational Practiced DANC0261 led by Professor Lida Winfield and musicians Ron Rost and Deborah Felmeth.
Lighting will be improvised by Bert Crosby.

Technique and Composition, DANC0260, students show their choreography with music by the Middlebury Choir,Deborah Felmeth, and Ron Rost. Directed by Laurel Jenkins and lighting by Bert Crosby. 

Join DANC0360 choreographers Tyler Hadar and Samia Sami for an engaging display of a semester’s learning and growing through movement.

Dance Company of Middlebury (DCM) is a two-semester (Fall 2024 and JTerm 2025)
commitment that provides students with pre-professional dance and performance
training. As a member of DCM, students create, rehearse, and perform an original
performance in the Fall and tour the work in January. DCM meets six to eight hours
weekly. DCM is limited to sophomores through seniors, by audition. Students must have
taken DANC0260, ‘Technique and Composition’, or be enrolled for the Fall of 2024 to
participate in DCM.
