SELF Appeal is an interactive discussion series concentrating on varying aspects of Self specifically how we mindfully navigate through digital and physical spaces. These monthly happenings are inspired by talks done by Creative Mornings hosted by Alie Jones (DLC Graduate assistant). The theme for the first talk is SELF Care. Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone, explore self care practices, and engage in a meaningful discussion on being self care practitioners as professionals.

Roundtable on Multidisciplinary Learning

Students are invited to come discuss and give feedback on their experiences solving wicked challenges, student competitions, or custom immersive learning and capstones, or to talk about their plans for these activities. What campus resources are being used? How are students being supported? What opportunities are there to use these activities to engage in multidisciplinary learning? A working group of faculty, staff, and students is investigating how to promote multidisciplinary learning at MIIS. Come be a part of it!

Need a professional-looking head shot photo for your LinkedIn profile or e-portfolio? December 1st is the final day of head shots this semester for students on campus. Offered through the DLC, we will be taking photos between noon-2:00 on a first-come, first-served basis on the patio between the Security shack and the Lara Soto Adobe. Come get your picture taken!
