He is the Director of the Program on Inequality and the Common Good at the Institute for Policy Studies in DC, and the author of a new book, Altar to an Erupting Sun. The book has won praise from Bill McKibben, Kim Stanley Robinson and Winona LaDuke, among others, and asks us to confront our moral obligations to act in the face of climate change.
