Evolution Dance Crew

COME DANCE WITH US! Evolution Dance Crew is holding auditions for any new students who want to join the crew. We are a group of students who rehearse throughout the semester to create dance performances in collaboration with other groups on campus, or our own showcases. We combine global diasporas of dance with fresh and exciting choreography. We create pieces that show the evolutionary trend of urban dance. From African to Latin American to Caribbean dance, Evolution Dance Crew aims to bring all types of dance to the Middlebury campus through Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Modern.

Evolution Dance Crew’s annual Halloween Show. Come ready to have fun and watch some dances to our theme: Get Out, based on the film directed by Jordan Peele.

Come join us at Evolution Fright Night Afterparty! Bring yourself, bring your friends, but most importantly bring your dance moves and get ready to have fun!

You doubted me, but look at me now! This theme is meant to showcase our resilience to overcome the difficult obstacles that present themselves, especially as they pertain to our personal experience on Middlebury’s campus. There has been tension on our campus and it is important to come together and demonstrate the strength of our identities and to create a positive atmosphere that our audience can relate to.

Evolution Spring Auditions! Come with 30 seconds to 1 minute of your own choreography to show us, then you get to learn a bit of Evolution’s choreography as well! Come in comfy clothes and get ready to dance with us!
