Feminist Action at Middlebury

FAM is a feminist organization that meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7pm that welcomes people of all sexes, genders, and identity groups to explore intersectional feminist activism in a positive, fun, and inclusive environment.

Join Sal Nakhlawi ’19 for a 45-minute online fitness class to build strength and practice introspection. The class will incorporate movements that you can complete with your own bodyweight or dumbbells (or household items). All fitness levels are welcome.

Equipment you’ll need for the class:
• Your own bodyweight OR bumbbells (or something to lift)
• Paper and pen / digital device for notes
• Yoga mat and/or towel (optional)

SToPP 5k Walk/Run 2018! In partnership with The New Agenda, FAM will be hosting the SToPP 5k Walk/Run to raise money for campus sexual assault and harassment awareness.

A 2 hour screening of Reversing Roe with a short panel afterward regarding the relevancy of abortion access in Vermont in 2019. Additionally, attendees will have access to materials to write to Governor Phil Scott regarding their opinions!

Students will share stories of their experiences with reproductive justice.

What better way to celebrate Halloween than a “Death of Democracy” phone bank party! Join FAM and Get Out The Vote by calling residents of Addison County to remind them to vote on November 6th. We’ll play phone bank bingo, award prizes, eat pizza + snacks, and have a good time. (Extra prizes if you come in costume!) Come out for a spooky good time : )
