WANAS is excited to present our WANAS Showcase: Solidarity with Palestine, which will be a night of performances highlighting the cultures of the Middle Eastern and North African region for the first time at Middlebury.

From traditional dances to music to Arabic poetry, we are delighted to present to you a collaborative display of MENA culture, a beautiful act of solidarity from Middlebury students of all backgrounds. . There will be a simultaneous art exhibition displaying artworks focused on MENA culture and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The 2024 Lunar New Year Celebration will celebrate all kinds of east-Asian cultures through potluck, cater of Rice (Chinese, Thai, Malaysia Restaurant in town), and arts & crafts. Students will bring their food together and enjoy the fun of union and celebration. 

Let’s connect kpop lovers (or potential kpop fans) through kpop random dance, karaoke and quiz. There will be tasty Asian snacks!

This event speaks to the importance of building and constructing your personal voice and will take place in various exercises. We will learn how to harness the power of language and construct short lines/verses of self-expression. During this workshop, people will harness their creative energy on a full scale.
