JusTalks info session for people interesting in facilitating the JusTalks 2018 JTerm event.

This workshop explores the intersection of race and queerness. We will discuss how whiteness and white supremacy are upheld in queer spaces.

Movin’ and Groovin’ is a stressbuster led by JusTalks facilitators meant to remind us  of connections between our bodies and minds and connections between us and our peers. We think these reminders are especially important now as we deal with finals season on top of everything else going on these days. We will be moving and dancing about the space, moving together and alone, with and without music. Take a dance break from your studying—no experience necessary and all forms of ability and interaction are welcome!

Join us this Monday for an info session on this upcoming J-Term’s class “JusTalks: Facilitating Social Change”. Students in the course will learn facilitation skills, focus on the theory and practice of dialogues, and ultimately design and facilitate JusTalks events required for first-year students. The 2019 JusTalks events will be held in a different format this year, happening on campus and over the course of several days. Come to learn more about the 2019 class, give feedback on what you’d like to see from the JusTalks program, or just enjoy JusTalks’ company!
