Winter Carnival Ice Show: Midd Century

The Ice Show features skaters of all ages and abilities, including lots of local kids, in a fun event filled with music and costumes. The theme this year is Midd Century – celebrating 100 years of the Winter Carnival Ice Show! Cheer on the beginners and be dazzled by competitive skaters. Come and enjoy the show! 

Concessions will be available. 

Kenyon Arena is fully accessible.

Community Arts - A Tool for Activism

Lunchtime lecture by Dr. Marta Vega Moreno, founder of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute and former director of El Museo del Barrio and the Association of Hispanic Arts. She is one of the founders of the Association of Hispanic Arts and the Network of Organization of Color. Dr. Vega is president of the Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), an international not for profit organization dedicated to researching, documentation and promulgating the reach history and traditions of African descendants in the Americas. Lunch will be provided.

MCAB Fall Comedian: Finesse Mitchell

Finesse is a multi-faceted actor, author and stand-up comedian with three one-hour comedy specials titled, “Snap Famous”, “One Man Monster”, and “The Spirit Told Me To Tell You” under his belt. He is currently in production on his fourth while also producing a weekly podcast titled “Understand This with Finesse Mitchell”, out on all platforms.
