Come join Project Pengyou for a skype call with Sidney Rittenberg as he shares his incredibly intriguing experiences. Rittenberg is an American journalist, scholar, and Chinese linguist who lived in China from 1944 to 1980. He worked closely with Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, and other leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) during the war, and was with these central Communist leaders at Yanan. He witnessed first-hand much of what occurred at upper levels of the CCP and China’s historical Culture Revolution.

Middlebury Stop Traffick is bringing Emily Waters and Jasmine Grace, two survivors of sex trafficking, to tell their stories and explain how they have engaged in activism.

Four of New York’s top longform improvisers take you on a tour of everything cute and brutal.
This supergroup of improv veterans includes Alexandra Dickson, Connor Ratliff (Orange Is the New Black), Zach Cherry (Spiderman: Homecoming), Rachel Pegram (Don’t Think Twice) from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. They’ll perform a wholesome, longform improve set and debut a new improv group here at Middlebury! Come thru!

On May 5th, when night falls, art will take over—dance, film, drawing, painting, theater, music, poetry, sculpture, circus, lights, food and projects that defy categorization will come together on Middlebury’s campus for an immersive, night-long celebration of student art. Featuring work by over 90 students.

Step right up to the amazing inflatables Cow-nty Fair! Try out the obstacle courses or jump into the giant bounce house! If you’re hungry, try out the fantastic food trucks or grab some popcorn and enjoy the day. Co-sponsored by Wonnacott and Brainerd Commons.
