Middlebury College Club Quadball

On Saturday, October 7, Middlebury College welcomes back a magical tradition, the Middlebury Classic Quidditch Tournament. Over a dozen teams from around New England, including residential commons’ teams from the College, will battle for glory. Potion demonstrations, food trucks, acrobatics, and visiting bands will turn the tournament into a spectacular, daylong festival. The tournament will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. behind Battell Hall off of Route 125/College Street.

The Middlebury Classic Quidditch Tournament is back! Watch as quidditch teams from around the Northeast compete in the sport of Muggle Quidditch, invented by Middlebury students! There’s also a special tournament for Middlebury first-years, food trucks, “kidditch” workshops, and a whole bunch of activities run by participating student orgs!  

Come learn to play Quidditch! Quidditch is a coed, inclusive sport that combines elements of rugby and dodgeball with a unique twist. Practices are held several times a week on Battell Beach, come down and have fun with us! Masks will be required.
