Middlebury College Musical Theatre

At the formal winter cabaret, students can sign up in advance to sing their favorite musical theatre songs with a piano accompanist. Spectators can enjoy some warm, home-made cookies and hot chocolate while watching their talented friends sing!

MCMT presents our first-ever fall musical: The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Six of your fellow Middlebury students compete as quirky, overachieving children desperate to win their county’s spelling bee and move on to Nationals. They will be joined by four brave audience volunteers who will round out the Bee’s ten competitors. Who will win the bee? It could be you! (but probably not…)

Costumes encouraged but not required! Welcome to a night of spooky songs and Halloween musical fun beginning at 7:00 pm in the Hepburn Zoo. Spectators and performers both welcome- invite your friends for a spooky good time. 

Movie night with MCMT! A musical movie and snacks!

Happy April Fools Day! Come perform a song that you wouldn’t typically sing because it goes against your age/gender/casting type. MCMT is a welcoming and inclusive setting for all performers!

At this meeting, we will introduce our new board, preview our spring programming ideas, give updates on our spring musical, and invite suggestions for programming! We will also play Kahoot and maybe Guess the Song about musical theatre trivia!
