Guest conductor John Butt leads two performances of J.S. Bach’s riveting musical drama. Featuring students, alumni, affiliate artists, and guest professional musicians. A Music Department event. Tickets: $15/$12/free to Middlebury College students with ID.

At the intersection of music theory, composition, and performance, Annie Beliveau ’18 will give a lecture-recital of her senior work based on research into Sarum plainchant from her year abroad in Oxford. With student collaborators, Annie will present her research results and a suite of original compositions inspired by medieval musical processes and modern poetry about the natural world.

All are welcome at this event which seeks to make this 500-year-old music accessible! Free.
