MAJNOON: Ramadan, Love, and Transformation

Youssef Kromah is an award-winning poet, best-selling author, dynamic speaker, community activist and international television host. He will speak of his recent book, MAJNOON, a collection of poetry and prose on the phenomenon of love and all of its beautiful and monstrous possibilities. He teaches love as a permanent state of being, an embodiment of a profound reality, as opposed to a short-lived experience or temporary state of insanity. In this talk, Youssef Kromah will connect these deep themes with the Holy month of Ramadan and how they pertain to the student experience.

Ramadan Discussion

We are excited to partner with the University of Vermont’s MSA this Ramadan. Kicking off with a community discussion on Saturday afternoon, we hope to provide space to process the challenges of the past year. Isolation has taken toll on many people’s mental health and impacted religious observances. With this in mind, how can we support each other and our goals for this Ramadan.
