Join us for a talk with Dr. Sharon Welbel about what it is like to run an infectious disease ward in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Welbel is a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago and has clinical expertise in hospital epidemiology. Her titles include Infectious Diseases Specialist, System-wide Director of Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, and Associate Professor of Medicine at Rush Medical College. Along with all the work she has done to help curb the impact of this pandemic, she also has an ID clinic and an HIV clinic.
