What would ending affirmative action mean for Middlebury? A Community Dialogue

This summer, the US Supreme Court will rule on two cases determining the future of race conscious admissions in higher education. We invite community members to join us for a dinner conversation with scholars, educators, and community leaders on the significance of this ruling for our community and higher education in the US.

Featuring commentary from Education Studies Professor Tara Affolter, Political Science Professor Bert Johnson, VP and Dean of Admissions Nicole Curvin, and discussion groups led by JusTalks.

Middlebury’s Student Government External Affairs Comitee invites Middlebury students to walk around campus, and throughout Middlebury town, to eat, socialize, and shop! Students will be gifted $10 to spend in town! The water fall will be lit for the first time, there will be vendors, and shops open for people to explore!

An hour long discussion with counseling staff to talk about the counseling model, services and resources available on campus. Students will be able to ask questions and share their experiences with the counseling services at Middlebury College.
