Need help or guidance on your financial aid forms? Come by our Financial Aid Workshop, hosted by SGA’s Institutional Diversity Committee, to get started and to get your questions answered! The first half hour will be a brief presentation on FAFSA and CSS. The remaining hour is allotted for filling out forms. There will be SFS representatives to help answer any questions or concerns you may have.

This workshop covers the basics of healthy, fun, safer sex for all bodies and all genders. Starting from a place of pleasure - rather than fear or shame - we’ll talk about basic human anatomy; safer sex practices; pregnancy prevention; and the risks of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and how to prevent them. Rooted in sex positivity, this workshop celebrates all bodies and orientations - queer or trans, cis or straight.

Our desires can be a source of great healing and liberation. They can also hold a great deal of shame. We live in a society where sex negativity, racism, transphobia, homophobia, fatphobia, and ableism all interact to police our bodies and desires, and many of us grow up feeling some level of shame or uncertainty around our sexualities. This workshop is a place to delve into the healing potential of our sexualities, while unpacking the beliefs and messages that no longer work for us.

Are you a saver or a spender? How do you make a budget and actually live within it? Do you usually take risks or are you pretty conservative with your money? Come to this session to learn about these questions and more and have a knowledgeable discussion with an expert.

This is something you probably know you should do, but how? Where do you start? Come learn about techniques and strategies to make this process easier and more successful. If you have any kind of loan, or think you will after you graduate, this is the session for you. Come learn from expert staff on campus about appropriate timelines, common issues to avoid, what to pay attention to, and how to plan ahead so you understand how to be a responsible borrower.
