Cook Commons Championship - Spencer Prize 2020

To honor the late Professor Emeritus John Spencer, Oratory Now announces the third annual speech competition for first-year students. Faculty-nominated speakers from Cook Commons will each have 3 minutes to respond to the following prompt: “Connect something you learned in a Middlebury class to something you care about. Can you get your Commons to care too?”

The winner will face off against four other Commons Champions on February 18 at the Grand Championship, in the Mahaney Center Robison Hall. The 2020 Spencer Prize winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
