SNEG is excited to host Standing Tree’s Zack Porter to talk about the relationship between biomass as an energy source and forest conservation. 

Join the Mountain Club, Sunday Night Environmental Group and Middlebury Geographic for a screening of Crown Jewels, followed by a talk with special guest Zack Porter, Executive Director of Standing Trees. This skillful documentary takes a deep look at the future of our old-growth forests on public lands, and how we can protect them.

 

From 6:45 to 7:30, join Mountain Club leaders and friends for a meet and greet with snacks and the opportunity to ask questions and learn what the club is all about.
