MIIS RPCV Welcome Event

The NorCal Peace Corps Association will host a welcoming party for Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) RPCVs on Sunday October 1st from 12:30 to 3:00pm. MIIS is known for its excellence in education and has had a relatively high RPCV enrollment due in part to its participation in the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows program that offers substantial financial assistance to Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. MIIS also has several faculty and staff RPCVs who we hope will join us.

When the new medium of motion pictures became an art form it attracted those artists as well. The Peninsula’s diverse settings are ideal for depicting locations around the world. When he stars came to film, they quickly realized it was also an idyllic getaway and became Hollywood’s Playground.
