Middlebury is about to start construction on a new 298-bed residence hall that will help define the first-year student experience for generations to come.
Harnessing the power of mentorship and a vast network of Washington, D.C.-based employers, the College and Middlebury Institute co-hosted a weeklong exploration of global careers in the nation’s capital.
Approximately 1,500 students will attend the 13 schools this summer at Middlebury College, Bennington College, and at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California.
The College will continue its policy of allowing students to opt out of sharing standardized test scores for another three years. The College also received a record number of applications again this year.

The ceremony took place over Commencement weekend at McCullough Student Center.
Marine biologist and policy expert Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, one of the leading voices in climate change solutions, gave the Commencement address.
The 2023 sessions offer select events open to the public during the conferences, which run from June 2-7.
The award winners will teach, study, or research in locations around the world.
