Health Professions

Welcome, Health Professions Students!

This is the place for students who wish to clarify their interests and pursue their goals of becoming a medical practitioner, in allopathic (M.D. or D.O.) medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or allied fields.

Meet with the Health Professions advisor: design a curricular program tailored to your individual interests.

Attend group meetings: gain an overview of prerequisites for admission to health profession schools; learn how to become a competitive candidate; discover the ins and outs of the application process.

Read the Health Professions newsletter: obtain leads on opportunities for relevant experience; keep abreast of pertinent lectures and presentations; learn what fellow premeds are up to.  A link to the newsletter may be found in the righthand column of this page.

NOTICE:  The MCAT is changing in 2015 (take note, anyone who will apply then or afterwards!).  See the Health Professions Newsletter/Blog [date: April 23, 2012] for an article from the AAMC on the changes.

Have questions? Give us a call [(802) 443-2455].
