Student Staff

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Research hires many Middlebury students to staff our programs.

The CTLR Office Staff keeps the Center open in the evening hours.

The Peer Tutoring Program has tutors for nearly every subject, including foreign language, mathematics, science, and social sciences courses.

Peer STEM Tutors provide drop-in tutoring at locations across the campus and one-on-one tutoring (by appointment) for select courses.

Peer Writing Tutors provide drop-in tutoring in CTLR every evening from 7:30 - midnight, Sunday - Thursday (except during college breaks).

Writing and Academic Mentors are assigned to work with First-Year Seminar classes.

"I can’t stress enough how much working at the CTLR has prepared me to succeed in the work force." - Anthony Perez '14
