Leaving College Housing

Keys: Keys should be left with Public Safety.  Public Safety is open Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 6 p.m. during the academic year and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Otherwise, you should contact the housing office to make drop off arrangements.

Utilities: If you pay for utilities be sure to cancel them.  Tenants who pay for their heating fuel and/or propane should have the tank(s) filled before moving out.

Trash/Recycling Removal: Please remove trash and recycling.  Items left will be disposed of at a cost to the tenant to include the disposal fee and an administrative fee.

Cleaning: Unit should be swept and/or vacuumed and the refrigerator, stove, cabinets, and bathroom(s) wiped down.  Do not turn off or unplug the refrigerator.

Deposits: The unit will be inspected in a timely manner and the deposit less any cleaning and damages (normal wear and tear excepted) will be returned as soon as possible.  Please provide a forwarding address for the return of deposit.
