COVID-19 Updates: Fall Semester

Ridgeline Residential Complex

In the fall of 2015, Middlebury began construction on the Ridgeline Residence Complex, the first new major residential construction since the completion of Atwater Residence Halls in 2004. The complex, which will house 158 students, includes three buildings along Adirondack View Road, each with four townhouse units. A fourth building in the Ridgeline area will offer suite-style apartments with either three or four single bedrooms with full-size beds. Each apartment will also include living space and bathroom facilities. The building will have large common spaces, shared kitchen facilities, and shared laundry facilities for the students living in the building.

Middlebury is working with Kirchhoff Campus Properties (KCP), of Pleasant Valley, New York, to develop the new complex. Kirchhoff has been involved in developing and/or constructing over 13,000 student beds for leading colleges and universities in the northeast. The complex is due to be completed and ready for occupancy in September 2016.
