With videoconferencing capabilities, the office can connect students at any of Middlebury’s schools and programs with leading experts and policy makers who might otherwise not be available to travel to Vermont, California or one of Middlebury’s dozens of Schools Abroad campuses.

Middlebury in DC is also a hub for alumni, and hosts regional events as well as appearances and talks by faculty and alumni authors.

The space houses the Washington, D.C. office of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS), which is part of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, at Monterey.

Middlebury in DC is approved to operate by the DC Higher Education Licensure Comission. Middlebury College and all of its programs have been accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education, located at 209 Burlington Road, Suite 201, Bedford, MA.
