Information Security

Middlebury's approach to information security leverages education, architecture, technology, and governance to protect our information assets.

  • Education: maintaining a comprehensive security education and awareness program aimed at reaching the entire Middlebury community
  • Architecture: assessing, designing, and introducing new technologies and solutions to address security needs across the institution
  • Technology: offering technical solutions for the desktop, network, and servers to address security needs
  • Governance: developing, influencing, and contributing to policy for infrastructure and data security

We believe that information security is a shared responsibility. Our staff works collaboratively with departments across the institution to help reduce and mitigate information security related risks and threats to the College community.
