  • UVA's McIntire School of Commerce Graduate School Information Session (Monday, October 20th 2025, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT)

    When: Monday, October 20th 2025, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm EDT Location: Axinn Center , 220, 15 Old Chapel Rd, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Join us for this information session to learn about the UVA McIntire School of Commerce's Specialized Master's Programs. The M.S. in Commerce (MSC), a 10-month master's program designed for non-business majors, offers specialization in Biotechnology, Business Analytics, Finance, and Marketing & Management. The M.S. in Accounting (MSA), a 9-month, STEM-designated, 30 credit hour program features tracks in Financial Reporting & Assurance and Tax Consulting, provides students with the opportunity to fulfill the 150-hour requirement for CPA licensure upon graduation. The M.S. in Global Commerce (MSGC), a dynamic nine-month program offered with top-ranked partner school, ESMT Berlin, immerses students in world-class business education across two continents,  delivering an unparalleled learning experience that blends cutting-edge skills in finance, marketing, and AI with invaluable international exposure. Get outside.Make the most of this summer by working with us at Apogee Adventures. Through our summer outdoor adventure programs for middle and high schoolers, our primary goals are for our students to experience a sense of community, increase their self-confidence, and foster their  love for the outdoors. Working with Apogee means having a real impact on these students - not to mention spending your summer hiking, backpacking, bike touring, or working on meaningful community service projects in some of the most beautiful places in the world. We also offer writing programs, and our trips also sea kayak, surf, snorkel, rock climb, ice climb, SUP, and whitewater raft - just in case backpacking in the Alaskan wilderness, hiking the Presidential Mountains of New Hampshire, or cycling touring from Amsterdam to Venice wasn't exciting enough in itself.We are looking for responsible, dynamic, and motivated applicants to work in a variety of roles - both in the field as Trip Leaders and Field Leaders as well as in our office as Assistant Directors - in locations throughout North America, Europe, and Latin America in the summer of 2026.Want to learn more? Former multi-year trip leader and current Assistant Director, Lucia Daranyi, will be coming to campus to give a short presentation on what it looks like to work with Apogee and why this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.
