CCI Student Treks

Student Treks connect students with multiple alumni and organizations during on-site visits and job shadowing experiences. These CCI-led trips, typically hosted over breaks, are unique "living and learning" cohort experiences that provide the students with an opportunity to explore a particular field of interest.

The Center for Careers and Internships works closely with members from the Middlebury Professional Networks (MPNs) to plan meaningful activities throughout the experience, sometimes also collaborating with relevant academic departments. Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Job Shadowing opportunities with industry-specific alumni in various job functions and roles
  • Reflection dinners
  • Opportunities to engage with alumni and parents from the MPN
  • Career Networking Reception for alumni and students
