Scott Center for Spiritual and Religious Life Alternative Spring Break Trip to Washington, DC: Impacting Social Policy in Changing Times
March 23-30, 2019
This trip is highly subsidized by the College and generous friends.
Student cost is $250, which includes transportation, housing and most meals.
Space is limited; an application is required (see below). Priority will be given to applications received before Feb. 15.
Upon acceptance, students must make an initial non-refundable deposit of $100. This payment is a sign of commitment to the program, so appropriate travel and housing reservations may be made. Please complete and sign the sections below.

Commitment: By submitting an application, you are agreeing to invest time, energy, and commitment to the Alternative Spring Break Trip to Washington, DC, participating in all aspects of the program. If I am chosen to be a participant, in addition to the trip I will attend a small number of both preparatory and follow-up group meetings and special events.
Drug-Free Policy: This is a drug-free program. As such, students may not possess and/or use illegal drugs while participating on the trip. Should this policy be violated, the participant will be asked to leave the trip and will be responsible for arranging and funding his/her return travel. By submitting an application, you are agreeing with this policy and will adhere to it without exception.
Financial Aid Policy: The Scott Center is committed to making alternative break trips available to all students and therefore provides an opportunity for participants to receive financial aid. If paying the $250 trip fee is a hardship, please contact Ellen McKay (email@example.com) by separate email, to discuss your situation.
