Jon Owsley ’92

Jon Owsley ’92, P ’27, P ‘29 is a Managing Partner at L Catterton, a global private equity firm focused exclusively on consumer businesses. Prior to joining L Catterton, Mr. Owsley worked as a consultant at the Parthenon Group, an elite strategy consultancy. Before that, he was a corporate associate at the Boston law firm of Hale and Dorr, LLP. He began his career as the Assistant Brewmaster of Otter Creek Brewing (founded in Middlebury) and as an assistant lacrosse coach for the Middlebury Men’s Lacrosse Team.  While at Middlebury, Mr. Owsley was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse Team and received the Hazeltine Klevenow Award in his senior year. Mr. Owsley graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from Middlebury and with a J.D. from Cornell Law School. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees of Middlebury, he sits on the Investment Committee at Lehigh University, as well as numerous private company boards.
