Stephen Diehl

Stephen writes, edits, and produces news stories; collaborates with departments throughout Middlebury on strategic communications projects; supervises Middlebury’s main social media channels; and is a member of our crisis communications team.

He graduated from Indiana University with a double major in English and communications and received his master’s degree in advertising and public relations from Marquette University. He has more than 20 years’ experience in higher education communications at Middlebury College and Green Mountain College. He was previously the director of communications at the Orvis Company in Manchester, Vermont.
