My name is Hannah Horris, my pronouns are she/her/hers. I grew up in Easton, Massachusetts. I started working at Middlebury College in the summer of 2017. Before arriving at Middlebury College, I was an assistant athletic trainer at Desert Mountain High School, a D1 high school in Scottsdale Arizona.
I attended Boston University Sargent College for my bachelor’s degree in athletic training and continued to A.T. Still University for my master’s degree in athletic training. A.T. Still University is an osteopathic medical school, this experience provided me with a holistic approach to patient care and extensive knowledge of human anatomy. My graduate dissertation focused on clinical tests for breathing pattern dysfunction which ignited my interest in movement patterns and movement analysis. While in graduate school I was taught Graston Technique, Functional Movement Screen assessment, Selective Functional Movement Screen assessment, cupping, as well as many other manual therapy interventions. Since then, I have become certified in Dry Needling. I am always interested in furthering my knowledge of manual therapy interventions and keeping up to date with emergency care standards.
In my free time you may catch me skiing at Mad River Glen or the Middlebury Snowbowl, hiking in the Green Mountains, running on the TAM, or doing yoga just about anywhere.
