Sue is a full-time international graduate student at the University of Vermont, working on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her BA in psychology from Özyeğin University, a private research university in Istanbul, Turkey. She grew up traveling the world and had the opportunity to observe diverse cultures, which sparked her interest in human psychology and counseling.

Her evolving therapy style draws from cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic theories while utilizing tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She is eager to create a genuine and supportive environment in the counseling room, where one can feel secure and connected.

She is loving Vermont so far and is currently working on her cooking skills in her free time.
