Kat Marshall

My name is Kathryn, but my nickname has been Kat since high school, and I use she/her pronouns. I grew up in New York on a dairy farm and have lived in Vermont off and on since 2010.

I have worked as an administrative coordinator for a nonprofit organization that provides home repairs for low-income homeowners, but my background is in museums. I received my bachelor’s in art from Alfred University and a master’s in museums studies from Syracuse University. I joined Middlebury in 2023 as an administrative assistant working with the Health & Wellness Education and Residential Life offices. In 2024, I transitioned to the Clinical Operations Manager position with the Center for Health and Wellness. As the ‘COM’, I split my time between supporting the Health & Wellness Education team and the AVP for student health and wellbeing.

Things that make me happy are pizza, salad, and pesto pasta, campfires with smores, looking out from atop a mountain, and sitting on the front porch with a cup of tea.
