Taylor Brown

My name is Taylor (she/her) and I am an intern therapist at Middlebury College. I am originally from Oregon and have been living out West until moving East to complete my Master’s in Clinical Counseling at the University of Vermont. For the last few years, I worked in a variety of settings in outdoor recreational therapy, from in-patient programs to working as a whitewater rafting guide and co-facilitator for a non-profit. 

As I develop professionally, I am committed to establishing relationships with clients that are collaborative and respectful. I aim to approach counseling with curiosity and reflexivity using a relational and feminist framework to support clients through various exploration, identity development, transitions, and challenges. 

Outside of work and school, I enjoy being active and exploring the outdoors by bike, skis, boat, or my own two feet! I am also developing my identity as an artist. I am delighted to spend time with loved ones sharing meals and music.
