Meron is originally from Ethiopia, but has also lived in Italy and Oakland, CA. She graduated in May 2019 from Middlebury as an Anthropology major with minors in French and African Studies. As a student Meron was involved with a few of the opportunities at the Innovation Hub including the Social Entrepreneurship Fellows and Changemakers program and MiddCORE. She was also a Davis Projects for Peace grant recipient and a Reflection Friday speaker. Meron is very excited to advise students with their entrepreneurial, socially impactful and creative initiatives by exposing them to the many ways in which the Innovation Hub can support them.

As the Creativity and Innovation Associate, Meron works with students in creative, innovative and entrepreneurial programs including: Old Stone Mill, Midd Ventures Community, MiddChallenge, The Hunt, Projects for Peace, MiddSTART, TEDx Middlebury, Tree House Fund and New Millennium Fund.
