The AFC, the Center for Careers and Internships, Student Financial Services, the Creating Connections Consortium (C3) via Dr. Miguel Fernandez, Dr. Marcos Rohena-Madrazo, and Dr. Clinton Cave have partnered to bring you a week full of insight on preparing for your next step. Whether that “next step” is a summer job, an internship, major career planning, mentorship and networking, your graduate school application, or just preparing for fall semester—they will share all the steps you need to take and information about the resources available to you! Peer Career Advisors Zoey and Cindy will be around on Tuesday and Thursday from 2-5pm in the AFC Basement Lounge to continue those conversations and give you additional assistance.
The process of making summer plans is stressful for most students and especially difficult for First-Generation students. Alicia Gomez from CCI will be sharing over student options for summer jobs, internships, volunteering, summer programs, and other forms of involvement.
