Join Aaron Mendelsohn ’95, for an informal group chat and Q&A about his career in federal and city government, non-profits, consulting, law and politics.  Aaron currently serves as General Counsel of The Jewish Theological Seminary, a preeminent institution of Jewish higher education in New York City.  He previously served in the Executive Branch of NYC government as Deputy General Counsel for Policy & Compliance at the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), and in the Legislative Branch as Director of the City Council’s Oversight & Investigations Division.  Aaron grew up in Washington, DC, studied History and Art History at Midd, and went to law school at Northwestern University in Chicago.  Aaron clerked for a US District Court Judge after law school, then worked at law firms including WilmerHale in DC and Troutman Sanders in NYC, before serving as a Federal Prosecutor in the US Attorney’s Offices for the District of Columbia and New Jersey, and as a Senior Counsel in the Enforcement Department at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in NYC.  He has also worked in the Fraud Risk & Compliance practices at EY and Accenture.  Aaron has served on several US presidential campaigns and in the White House, and he’s also currently an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching Internal Investigations at Fordham University School of Law.  Fun fact: he’s also a marathon winner.  Aaron is on campus to lead the Jewish High Holidays services at Midd for the 34th consecutive year and is excited to share his time with us.
