Among Anthropologists, A Conversation about Food, Cooking and the Meaning of it All
Come hear Vermont based anthropologists Nir Avieli (Middlebury visiting scholar), Amy Trubek (UVM) and Ellen Oxfeld (Middlebury), the authors of three recently published books on food and culture. They will discuss their research on food in three different cultural contexts — Israeli public spaces, rural China and American kitchens – and the insights this afforded them.
